This is Canyon Zrmanja (Kanjon Zrmanja) in Croatia where Winnetou was filmed during 1960′es (see IMDB for more info, filming location ex-Yugoslavia).

   I’ve never seen Winnetou. I’ll have to hunt it out. I can imagine Sergio Leone loving Canyon Zrmanja. Stunning scenery.
