Vegetable day, fourth time. Producers present their products and are selling them at lower prices than usual. Probably because of a very hot weather, there was almost nobody to visit the fair, which lasted for 3 hours only.

    Hah! Happy puppy!

I do hope that you went home fully stocked with many of those wonderful vegetables. Unless you grow them yourselves, there’s nothing better than fresh farmers market vegetables :)

@David To be honest - I did. To be more honest - I got it for free! I was just making some photos and interviews for my new company and those nice things just kept appearing in my hands! Don’t worry, it won’t influence my article for the newspaper, LOL

The best way to buy vegetables! No unnecessary plastic packaging.

And great weather. Sent some over to England, please.

Vegetables only get one day a year? That’s just wrong. Is there a vegetable/fruit that your area is known for?

  5. GoGen, 15 July 2008:

Well, huh, one day because it’s like The day of vegetables, kind of a big fair of those who produce it.
And known for… no, not really, it’s all just the usual stuff, cabbage, potatoes, tomatoes, corn etc. In fact, I’m a total noob for farming so I really don’t know :)

    Cute pup.
So terrible to see all that beautiful stuff with nobody there to buy it. Hot weather…? Or cheap supermarkets?

  7. GoGen, 18 July 2008:

@Rupert Somehow I *know* you are right about the supermarket reason, but I refuse to believe it, wanting to think there still are people who are willing to buy less industrial food.

    Veggies get me excited.
